Deep dive: Interpreting audience data & narrative techniques for digital storytelling (sold out)
Amy is leading the way on how journalists can use data and digital technology to tell stories better, and to more people, by understanding the audience and their behaviour. What’s the best way to frame and package stories for online, and when it comes to analytics what data should you listen to and what should you ignore?

Amy will share global insights from the front line of digital innovation, while Steph brings insight into the specific challenges & opportunities of the Australian audience. This collaborative workshop will explore what works online, as our presenters deconstruct successful examples and examine story ideas from attendees. Together you’ll discuss how these stories could be approached structurally and narratively to maximise engagement. Come ready to share your ideas! This session has sold out.
